Striker Fredrick Boateng says he has no issues with Kotoko Coach CK Akonnor after his contract with the Club was terminated.
Kotoko announced that they have cancelled Boateng’s contract after the player failed to glitter at the Club.
The attacker together with Mohammed Abass saw an end to their Kotoko career having barely played games for the Club.
The two could not fit into the system of the Coach who eventually could not work with the them.
Boateng has no qualms with CK Akonnor.
“My relationship with Coach C.K. Ackonnor is cordial. I don’t know why I fell out of favour in his scheme of affairs but I don’t blame him for anything,” he told Sikka FM.
“He is a good coach who got Asante Kotoko to where we got to in the Confederations Cup.”
“I’ve no qualms with nobody at Kotoko and I can’t speak evil of anyone. I only find it hard to understand why they are demanding some of the kits they gave me but policies differ from one club to another so I can’t have issues with it.”
The forward joined Kotoko after leaving Inter Allies last year and made just one appearance for the Porcupine Warriors in the CAF Confederation Cup competition.
