Ghana have been drawn in Group A of the 2019 WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations.
The Black Queens find themselves in the same Group with host Cote d’Ivoire, Togo and Senegal.
Group B has raining Africa Champions Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali.
The Queens will open their campaign against Senegal on May 8.
Coach Mercy Tagoe and her side will be heading into the competition to defend the title won two years ago.
Ghana defeated Nigeria on penalties to win the maiden edition of the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations tournament.
The team (Black Queens) left for Cape Coast on Monday to begin preparation for the competition.
