Ghanaian-born Dutch defender Derrick Luckassen is set to decide on his next destination after a difficult time with German Club Hertha Berlin.
The centre-back has struggled for regular playing time after joining Hertha BSC on loan from Dutch Club PSV Eindhoven.
Luckassen’s spell with the Club has further been marred by persistent injury problems.
The 23-year-old after a difficult time with the Bundesliga side is considering his next destination as his place in the PSV team looks uncertain.
“To be honest: I am happy when the season is over. I look forward to the holidays,” he tells BILD.
“I expected a lot more from my time here. As far as I’m concerned, I didn’t get the chances I deserved,”
“I want to get fit and stay fit again first. We’ll see further next season.”
The former AZ Alkmaar defender has been able to make only four appearances for Hertha Berlin since joining the Club.
