The crew from Ghana Television has arrived in Dormaa Ahenkro and is set to telecast the Aduana Stars’s home clash with AshantiGold live on its main and Sports➕ channels.
Ghanasoccernet.com, owned and financed by former Ghana FA Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie, fabricated reports that there will be no live telecast of the Dormaa Ahenkro because the state broadcaster is cash-strapped due to the NC’s failure to pay them.
A GTV official who spoke to Ghana Sports Online strongly denied and rubbished reports carried by anti-NC media outlets claiming fans will be denied this weekend’s games due to lack of payment to the state broadcaster.
“They’re false reports. Nothing like that happened and I can confirm that the Normalisation Committee has been very supportive,” the source said.
GTV and it’s terrestrial digital channel GTV Sports➕ have telecasted four live games in the 3-day old Ghana FA Normalisation Committee Special Competition.
One of Ghana’s leading TV commentators Henry Asante Twum has confirmed arriving at the venue with the team and is set to produce one of his best deliveries on the day.
Aduana have targeted victory against the Miners who are positioning themselves for the ultimate in the competition.
