Hearts of Oak defender Robert Addo is elated with the return of domestic football.
Addo together with most of his colleagues tasted competitive football for the first time in eight months after the Normalization Committee’s special competition kicked off over the weekend.
The center-back was in action when his side posted a 1-0 win over Dreams FC in the opening match at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The 22-year-old is happy to see football return.
“I am very happy, is been a long time and I know all the other players are happy to,” he said after his side’s victory over Dreams FC.
“We thank them (Normalization Committee) for bringing football back, this will keep us active so I am very happy. We hope the competition goes well.”
The Normalization Special competition will continue this weekend at the various centres.
