Spanish giants Real Madrid are expected to make attempts to sign Ghanaian midfield jewell who plays for Belgian side Club Brugge.
Real Madrid scouts were recently at a match when Asoma excelled for Belgium in the Euro U17 qualifiers as they whipped Hungary 4-2.
Asoma is a Belgium U17 international and has impressed Anfield scouts with his glittering display for both Belgium and Brugge U21 side.
The 16-year-old signed his first professional contract at Brugge last summer and has overly exceeded expectations at the club.
According to Ghana Sports sources, Brugge have laid plans to unleash him to the top-flight league in two seasons time.
But, Real Madrid have other ideas on the midfielder and are planning to table a bid for his signature and Ghana Sports sources confirm it would be an offer Brugge might not be able to resist.
Madrid will draft the youngster into their U19 squad for next season’s UEFA Youth League if the transfer happens.
Liverpool made similar attempts to snap up Ghanaian winger Jeremy Doku from Anderlecht but the Eden Hazard like-for-like talent opted to stay at Anderlecht.
