Christian Atsu has assured Newcastle United fans of a better season in the Premiership next term after the team’s final home game against Liverpool.
Newcastle United lost 3-2 at home to Liverpool on Saturday at the St James Park.
The Megpies put up a spirited display but would suffer a painful defeat in front of their home fans.
Atsu who scored his first goal of the season for the Club in Saturday’s game says the Club will bounce back stronger next season.
“We have worked really hard, we had a very difficult moment. We were in the relegation zone fighting and working against the pressure,” he spoke to NUFC TV.
For me I think we have a very great mentality, we have a great Coach, fantastic fans trying to support us and giving us everything, we are thankful to them and then we promise to always do our best for them.
Newcastle United are currently 14th on the table confirming their status in the English Premier League next season.
