Ebusua Dwarfs handed home ban for crowd violence in Hearts defeat

Ebusua Dwarfs have been banned from using the Cape Coast Sports Stadium after fans of the Clubs physically assaulted match officials in their 2-1 defeat to Hearts of Oak.

The home team attacked the referees after the game for what they described as poor officiating.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee has banned Dwarfs temporarily after receiving the reports from the match commissioner.

Dwarfs will thus honor their last two home matches away from home.

The Normalization Committee meanwhile is expected to announce a new venue for the Dwarfs home matches.

This becomes the third time a Club have been handed a home ban after Berekum Chelsea and Aduana Stars were all banned for crowd violence.
