Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has blasted gunners star Granit Xhaka in the team’s 1-1 stalemate with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Arsenal missed out in a top four place after being held at the Emirates.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyung’s penalty would be cancelled by Glenn Murrey who also converted from the spot.
Xhaka seemed to have been a victim of Frimpong’s critics as his performance saw the Ghanaian questioning his contribution in the game.
“Is not Mustafi is Xhaka. I’ll rather have a one leg Ramsey than Xhaka.
“Can’t fault effort from the players but how many FU***** TIMES THIS BLOODY XHAKA GIVE AWAY FREE GOALS HE DOES THAT CUS HE CANT MOVE AROUND THE PITCH LACK OF PACE WIN EUROPA NOW.”
Arsenal’s only hope to make it to the UEFA Champions League is to win the Europa League this season.
Emmanuel Frimpong, 27, recently announced his retirement after a problematic knee.
He spent 14 years at Arsenal where he passed through the youth ranks before making it to the first team.
