Leganés attacker Kwabena Owusu has earned his debut Black Stars call-up ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 21-year-old has been named among four strikers in Ghana’s provisional squad for the competition.
Owusu who is a joint top scorer in the Africa U23 Cup of Nations qualifiers having netted four times for the Black Meteors will now seek to break into the final squad for Egypt.
The forward caught the attention of the Black Stars technical team which also have Ibrahim Tanko who serves as the head Coach for the Ghana U23 side.
All 29 invited players are expected to leave Accra on June 1 to Dubai for a pre-tournament camp where the team will play Namibia and South Africa in warm-up friendlies to enable Kwesi Appiah select his final 23 for the competition.
