Ghanaian-born Zion Suzuki has been included in Japan’s squad for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland.
The 16-year-old will represent the Asian side when the competition kicks off tomorrow.
Suzuki is born to a Japanese father and a Ghanaian mother.
The Urawa Red Diamonds Youth goalkeeper is among two of Japan’s players with African descent.
Kennedy Mikuni who also has a Nigerian root will represent Japan at the World Cup.
