Kwesi Appiah and his AFC Wimbledon team secured their League one status after narrowly escaping the drop in the final day of matches.
AFC Wimbledon grabbed a vital away point after holding Bradford City to a scoreless draw away from home to ward off Walsall’s threat as the latter drew goalless with Shrewsbury Town.
Walsall needed to win and hope AFC Wimbledon or Plymouth Argyle drops valuable points in the final games.
However Kwesi Appiah and his teammates ensured they kept their place in England’s third-tier by snatching an important draw.
The Ghanaian international played a big role throughout the season for Wimbledon scoring four goals in 26 appearances for the Club.
