Ghanaian defender Enoch Kwarteng could be on his way to the English Premier League next season.
The defender is said to be among a list of out-of-contract players who are being monitored by Premiership Clubs.
Kwarteng, who had initially revealed his intention to stay at French Club Nantes could be on the move when the summer transfer window opens having made limited appearances for the Ligue I side in recent months.
The 22-year-old who was usually used as a right-back made 21 outings for Nantes.
Having made the most interceptions per 90 minutes in Ligue 1 this season, the youngster is regarded one of the players who could end up in the Premiership next season.
He is being joined by the likes of Adrien Rabiot of Paris Saint-Germain, FC Porto’s Yacine Brahimi, former Liverpool and Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli who is now on the books of French Club Olympique Marseille as well as Wolfsburg attacker Max Kruse who could all be on their way to the English top-flight.
