Ghana drew goalless with Cote d’ Ivoire in the final Group game of the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations.
The two sides who had already secured places in the semi-finals after wins against Togo and Senegal settled for a draw to leave the host top of the table.
The Black Queens looked the better side in the game coming close to score on a couple of occasions.
Mavis Owusu pounced on a blunder by the Ivorian defense and nearly punish them with an effort from 20yards which missed the post narrowly.
Grace Asantewaa was unlucky to see her free kick at the back of the net after the ball came off the frame.
Cote d’Ivoire on the other hand threatened the Ghana goal area on a couple of occasions especially in the second half.
The two sides had to split points leaving Ghana in second place hence will take on the winner of Group B.
