Ghana’s Black Queens will take on Nigeria in the semi-finals of the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations today.
The two sides face off in the semi-finals for the second successive time after Ghana emerged victorious in their last meeting at the same stage.
The Black Queens defeated the Super Falcons on penalties to progress to the finals of the 2017 edition where they went on to win.
Today’s encounter renew the fierce rival between the two sides.
Nigeria finished top of Group B after winning their three matches against Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali.
Ghana on the other hand finished second behind host Cote d’ Ivoire in Group A.
