Benin captain Stéphane Sessegnon insists his teammates can cope with his services in tonight’s game against Ghana.
The midfielder is out of the game due to suspension.
Sessegnon was sent off in Benin’s final Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria ruling him out of the game against Ghana.
His absence could be a blow for the Squirrels who are looking forward to cause an upset.
The 35-year-old has urged his teammates to thrive in tonight’s game despite his unavailability for the match.
“The kids have been without me for three games and won without me. We’ve been preparing for the game against Ghana for three weeks and now we’re ready,” he said.
Coach Michel Dussuyer could fall on the likes of Jordan Adéoti, Sessi D’Almeida and Mama Séïbou in the absence of his key midfielder.
