Albert Adomah is among eight players released by newly-promoted English Premier League side Aston Villa.
The winger’s “curse” to taste Premiership football popped up once again after he was refused a contract extension by Villa.
Adomah, together with Micah Richards, Tommy Elphick, Ritchie De Laet, Glenn Whelan, Alan Hutton and Mile Jedinak were all asked to leave Villa Park at the end of the season having helped the Club to return to the Premier League.
The Ghanaian international, 31, joined Aston Villa two seasons ago from Middelsbrough after helping the latter to the English Premier League from the Championship.
The attacker is now in search of another Club and likely to join another English side.
