The Black Stars rounded-up their Cup of Nations preparation after playing out a goalless draw with South Africa at the Dubai Police Academy Stadium.
The game was Ghana’s final Pre-AFCON test match before they embark to Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament after losing 1-0 to Namibia.
South Africa on the other hand only exhausted their first out of two friendly matches before the competition in Egypt.
Ghana throughout the game was the better side but failed to do the needful by getting the back at the back of the net.
Twice the Black Stars were denied by the post after Asamoah Gyan’s power header and Jordan Ayew’s strike came off the upright.
South Africa who looked compact in the game could produce little despite putting up some promising display.
The Black Stars will now leave for Egypt where they will continue their preparation before their opening match against Benin.
