Injured Ghana defender Musah Nuhu has successfully undergone a surgery in Switzerland.
The center-back was forced out of the Black Stars squad for the Africa Cup of Nations after picking up an injury whiles with the team in Dubai.
Nuhu, one of the budding defenders was named in Kwesi Appiah’s 29-man provisional squad and was in good position to make the final list but for the setback.
The former WAFA defender underwent a surgery to correct his injury.
He is expected to stay out for some time to enable him recover fully before returning to action.
Meanwhile Black Meteors Coach Ibrahim Tanko will look forward to have his key defender back before the team’s final Africa U23 Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria.
