Kotoko forward Abdul Fatawu Safiu could join Belgian giants R.S.C. Anderlecht, local media have reported.
The 24-year-old is set for a new adventure in Europe after a successful time with Kotoko.
Safiu, former player of Inter Allies returned to Ghana after spells with Swedish Club Vimmerby IF, Portland Timbers 2 and Whitecaps FC 2 all in the United States as well as Armenian Club Shirak.
The player joined Ghana Premier League side Eleven Wonders on a short-term deal before making a switch to Kotoko in 2018.
He has since been the top man for the Porcupine Warriors helping them to the Group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
He further netted 11 times to finish joint top scorer in the NC Special Cup which Kotoko won.
Reports emerging indicates the striker who missed out on Ghana’s final squad for the 2019 Cup of Nations in Egypt is likely to join the former Belgian Champions who have monitoring him for some time after recommendation by an agent.
