Top Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea could not make the final list of match officials for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Laryea was part of invited referees who converged in Morocco for a workshop program ahead of the Cup of Nations.
The 33-year-old could not make the cut to Egypt leaving Ghana with no referee at this year’s competition.
Having officiated in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup competition, the young referee was expected to make the list.
26 centre referees and 30 assistant referees will be on duty at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament which kicks off on June 21.
