Jeffrey Schlupp missed the latter part of last season at Crystal Palace due to injury.
The midfielder was sidelined for weeks hence could not make Ghana’s squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Schlupp however got back stronger as he worked things out to join his teammates for preseason.
The 25-year-old is happy to be back in action after recovering fully from his setback.
“I tore some ligaments in my ankle against Man City towards the end of the season,” he spoke to Palace TV after their preseason game against BSC Young.
“I had a lot of work in the summer and managed to get it right. I felt really good today getting through that 90 minutes and everything else is obviously a bonus.
“We managed to get a good week this week in Switzerland and I’m looking forward to working hard and getting some more minutes.”
Having scored four goals for the Eagles last season, Schlupp was regarded as one of the best performers for the Club.
