Kotoko have tasked Coach Kjetil Zachariassen to reach the Group stage of the CAF Champions League next year.
The Norwegian was signed on a three-year deal to replace CK Akonnor who has been promoted to head the Technical Team at the Club.
Zachariassen, former Coach of Ashanti Gold moved to the Porcupine Warriors after guiding the Miners to win the Tier II of the NC Special Cup.
With the Club aiming at another continental glory after a long while, management have asked the Coach to ensure he qualifies the team to the Group stage of the Champions League.
Kotoko last reached the Group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup under the supervision of CK Akonnor.
The Reds have already made six new signings after confirming the acquisition of Ghana U23 and former Inter Allies goalkeeper Kwame Baah, Kelvin Andoh, formerly of WA All Stars, midfielder Justice Blay who joined on loan from Medeama, Karela United center-back Ampem Dacosta, Ivorian attacker Adingra Moussa as well as Godfred Asiamah from Ashanti Gold.
