Young female Athlete Grace Obour made it to the Finals of the Women’s 400metres at the ongoing African Games in Morocco.
The 18-year-old finished second in Heat 2 with a time of 52.14.
Obour came behind Nigeria’s Favour Ofili who made a time of 51.94 to beat the Ghanaian to the top.
However the teenager (Grace Obour) made it to the finals in her very first major competition for Ghana.
She also bettered her personal best of 52.59, a time she made at the CAA U-18 and U-20 athletics championships in Cote d’Ivoire early this year.
