Ghana’s Josep Amoah and Sean Safo-Antwi missed out on a medal after placing 4th and 5th respectively in the Men’s 100m-final at the African Games.
The two made it to the Finals after finishing second in their respective Heats on Monday.
Amoah was able to clock a time of 10.11 to place fourth, narrowly missing out on the bronze medal to Nigeria’s Itsekiri Usheoritse Ese.
Safo-Antwi on the other hand placed 5th making a time of 10.18.
Nigeria’s Raymond Ekevwo made the fastest time at this year’s African Games so far after reaching the finish line in 9.96 to win Gold, marginally beating Ivorian Cisse Gue Arthur who also made a time of 9.97 to win clinch the silver.
