Ghana earned another medal at the ongoing African Games in Morocco after teenager Grace Obour finished third in the Women’s 400metres event to win bronze.
The 18-year-old who made it to the finals with a time of 52.14 in Heat 2 made a better time in the finals after finishing off with 51.86.
She came behind Galefele Moroko from Botswana and Nigeria’s Favor Ofili who came first and second respectively.
This becomes Ghana’s sixth medal at the competition and the fifth bronze medal for team Ghana.
