Flings Owusu-Agyepong, Hor Halutie, Gemma Acheampong and Persis William-Mensah made it to the finals of the Women’s 4x100metres relay after finishing second in Heat 2 behind Nigeria.
The quartet bonded well to put Ghana in a medal position making a time of 44.59.
Flings Owusu-Agyepong and Hor Halutie joined Gemma Acheampong and Persis William-Mensah who had already competed in the Women’s 100metres event.
Halutie on the other hand are yet to compete in the Women’s 200metres event.
