BLIND FOOTBALL: IBSA African Championships to be held in Nigeria

2019 IBSA Blind Football African Championships will now take place in Enugu, Nigeria, from November 22nd to December 1st.

The International Blind Sports Association IBSA Football Committee has announced change in venue and date for the Blind Football African Championship.

The Championships, initially scheduled to be held in the Ivory Coast, Have now been relocated to Enugu Nigeria. The competition will now take place from November 22nd to December 1st 2019, one week later than initially planned date of November 15-26 2019.

The 2019 IBSA Football African Championship will be hosted by Bina Foundation. The winner of the tournament will qualifier for the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

The Ghana Blind Sports Association (GBSA) is expected to lead the Ghana Blind Football team to the competition as they seek to qualify for the Para Games for the first time.
