Former Ghana youth midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi featured prominently for AIK Solna as they secured a 3-2 aggregate win over Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League.
The 2007 Ghana U17 midfielder flourished in the middle as he lasted the entire period for AIK at the Friends Arena in Solna.
AIK scored first through Swedish forward Nabil Bahoui in 61 minutes but Croatian Gabrijel Boban pulled parity for Tiraspol after helping himself to a ball from Brazilian Cristiano.
Despite the tie ending 1-1, AIK have reached the next stage of the competition after winning the first-leg tie 2-1 at the Stadionul Sheriff before 6,500 fans.
Adu and his AIK teammates will discover their next opponents in the competition before mid-week.
