Danish-born half-Ghanaian Kevin Niclas Mensah was in action for Brondby who succumbed to a 4-2 home defeat to Portuguese side Sporting Braga in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.
The 28-year-old was deployed as a lateral defender and he lasted the entire period of the game at the Brøndby Stadion.
Brondby felled 2-1 in the first-half but German Dominik Kaiser levelled for them early in the second-half however the visitors scored twice to nailed the victory.
Mensah and his teammates must over the first-leg results when the travel to Portuguese for the reverse fixture.
His brother Jeff Mensah also plays professional football. He holds both a Ghanaian passport and a Danish passport as one of his parents is a Ghanaian.
He has played for Viborg and Esbjerg both in the Danish top-flight.
Mensah has been capped by Denmark at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 levels.
