Patrick Twumasi’s move to Gazişehir Gaziantep moves one step closer after Deportivo Alaves agreed a loan deal with the Turkish Club.
The attacker is set to end his nightmare spell at the Spanish side where he managed just 14 games in his debut season after joining from Astana.
Twumasi has been pinning for a move away from Alaves after initial offers from Clubs were rejected by the La Liga outfit.
A deal have been agreed for the 25-year-old to move to Turkey for at least the coming season.
The five-time cap Ghana star could not tie down a first team spot at Alaves despite joining the Club in an incredible form having scored over 60 goals for Astana.
He will be looking forward to have a breakthrough campaign in the Turkish top-flight for the 2019/20 season.
Ghanasportsoline.com understands Gazişehir Gaziantep were willing to sign the player on a permanent deal, a request Deportivo Alaves refused to accept hence an agreement to have him move for just a season.
The former Ghana U17 attacker could be on his way to Gaziantep in the coming days should the two teams finalize documentation processes.
