Ghanaian defender Nicholas Amponsah made the United Soccer League one Team of the week for match-day 19.
The center-back was in tremendous form for Chattanooga Red Wolves as he recorded five interceptions, won 10 of 14 duels and 6 of 8 aerial duels across two outings, including a shutout victory last Saturday.
Amponsah has been one of the consistent players for Wolves this season making 12 appearances so far for the Club.
He thus makes his second appearance in the team of the week in the United Soccer League one.
The tough-tackler was joined by the likes of Stefan Cleveland, Wyatt Omsberg, Christian Diaz, Rafael Mentzingen and Aaron Walker.
Other players who also made the team of the week for match-day 19 are Tumi Moshobane, Paulo Jr, Don Smart, Jake Keegan and Elma N’For.
Meanwhile the Ghana U23 prospect was adjuged the most outstanding player for his side in their 2-0 loss to North Texas over the weekend.
