Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan is elated with his new role as the General Captain for the side.
Coach Kjetil Zachariassen named the 25-year-old as his new captain following the exit of Amos Frimpong.
Frimpong ended his long stay with Kotoko after joining Guinean side AS Kaloum stars, paving way for the Reds to appoint a new leader.
Annan stood favorite among his colleagues having previously served as the deputy captain for the side.
The Black Stars goalkeeper is pleased with his latest role at the Club.

He will lead the team in Saturday’s CAF Champions League clash against Nigerian side Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Sports Stadium.
The former Ghana U20 goalkeeper is being adored by the Club’s fans due to his massive contribution in the team, helping the Club to reach the Group Stage of the CAF Confederation Cup last season and also winning the NC Special Cup.
