Godfred Donsah has completed a loan move to Belgian Jupilar League side Cercle Brugge from Italian Club Bologna.
The former Ghana U20 star will be at Brugge for the next one year.
“Cercle Brugge and FC Bologna have reached an agreement with regard to the temporary transfer of midfielder Godfred Donsah. The 23-year-old Donsah is rented for one season. Groen-Zwart also negotiated a purchase option in the deal,” a statement published on cerclebrugge.be reads.
“With 89 games on the clock in the Serie A, the 23-year-old Donsah already has a lot of experience at the highest level. After a loan period to Hellas Verona, Donsah went to Cagliari in 2014, for which he wore the shirt a total of 21 times. His performance at the Rossoblu did not go unnoticed: in 2015, Godfred Donsah decorated a transfer to FC Bologna, where he played 67 times in total in 4 seasons. Now Donsah signs a contract with Cercle Bruges for the 2019-2020 season.
“This afternoon, Godfred Donsah will immediately complete his first training in green-black payroll.”
Donsah endured series of injury last season which kept him out in most part of the campaign.
