Ghanaian attacker Francis Afriyie will not play a part in Gor Mahia’s CAF Champions League game against Aigle Noir of Burundi on Sunday after the Kenyan side failed to complete his registration.
The former Bechem United forward moved to the Kenyan Champions from Mexican side Murciélagos.
Afriyie, 24, together with Ivorian Gislein Yikpe and Maurice Ojwang could not have their registration finalized hence their unavailability for the game against Aigle Noir.
The three will however be available for the return leg.
Gor Mahia appointed former Kotoko Coach Steve Pollack to lead the side in the coming season.
Ghanaian Francis Afriyie, Ivorian Gislein Yikpe & Maurice Ojwang will not be eligible to play for Gor Mahia in CAF match against Aigle Noir of Burundi on Sunday.
