Patrick Twumasi could be the third Ghanaian to join Turkish Club Gazişehir Gaziantep this summer.
The Super Lig side are said to have agreed a deal with Deportivo Alaves over the transfer of the attacker who has been overlooked at the Spanish Club.
Twumasi has had a tortuous spell at Alaves having made just 14 League appearances since joining the Club from Kazakhstani Champions Astana.
Deportivo Alaves could not hand the Ghanaian playing opportunities, forcing the 25-year-old to tender in a transfer request.
Reports earlier indicated Alaves had rejected several offers for the player and were demanding extra cash to release the forward who still has three more years left on his contract.
But Gazişehir Gaziantep are believed to have met the demands of the Spanish side with an imminent deal set to be announced.
The striker will join Abdul Aziz Tetteh and Abdul Raman Chibsah should the move be finalized in the coming days.
