Ghana sealed passage to the Africa U23 Cup of Nations after beating Algeria 1-0 away from home.
The Black Meteors defied the odds to grab a vital win in Setif having been held to a 1-1 draw by the Algerians in Accra.
Captain Yaw Yeboah who was a villain in the first leg encounter turned hero after scoring the only goal of the match in the 69th minute.
The midfielder found himself through the Algerian defense with a solo run before slotting the ball into the net.
Algeria had the better chances in the game but goalkeeper Kwame Baah proved to be a standing block as he prevented the home side from scoring on countless occasions.
The victory sees Ghana progress on a 2-1 aggregate score maintain their chances of making it to the Olympic Games in 2020.
