Dauda Mohammed has turned his focus to the Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Egypt after Ghana sealed qualification.
The striker was in action when the Black Meteors stunned Algeria 1-0 in Setif in the second leg of the final qualifier to book a place in Egypt.
Having drawn 1-1 with Algeria in Accra, Ghana managed to beat the North Africans at their backyard to join seven other countries for this year’s tournament.
Dauda Mohammed has now turned his attention to the main competition in Egypt as the Black Meteors seek to grab one of the three available slots to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
“When all hopes were lost and no one had the believe in us, Yes we’ve done it great fighting spirit and good team performance. Now time to focus on the afcon,” he tweeted.
