CK Akonnor is billed to undergo an interview for the position as Guinea National team Coach.
The Ghanaian trainer is among 17 shortlisted Coaches expected to be engaged in a dialogue session by the Guinea Football Federation.
Akonnor became free after mutually parting ways with Kotoko some weeks ago.
The ex-Ghana international comes up against some renowned Coaches which includes: Kanfory Lappé Bangoura (Guinea), Daniel Breard (France), Joseph Chovance (Slovakia), Paoulo Duarté (Portugal), Florin Motroc (Romania), Hendrikus Johannes (Holland), Hey Antoine (Germany), Florent Ibengué (DR Congo), and Kamel Djabour (Algeria).
Kranjcar Cico Zlatco (Serbia), Denis Lavagne (France), Leekens Georges (Belgium), Claudio Ranieri (Italy), Raoul Savoy (Spain), Didier Six (France) and François Zahoui (Ivory Coast) were all shortlisted to compete with the Ghanaian gaffer.
The former Hearts of Oak, Ashanti Gold and Dreams FC Coach must convince the panel to earn himself the top job.
