Ghanaian-born Arvin Appiah has joined Spanish Club UD Almeria from English Championship side Nottingham Forest.
Forest and Almeria agreed a deal to have the player join the latter on a permanent deal.
Appiah was pushed into Forest’s first team last season from the youth side and made his senior debut for the Club in the Championship.
Despite being touted to be a big prospect for the Club after his first few months with the senior team, the Club have decided to farm him out.
“Nottingham Forest can confirm that forward Arvin Appiah has left the club to join Spanish side UD Almeria,” a statement posted on nottinghamforest.co.uk.
“The 18-year-old made his first-team debut last season, going on to make eight appearances for The Reds but now departs for an undisclosed fee.
“The club would like to thank Arvin for his time at the club and wish him well for the future.”
The England U19 winger was born to Ghanaian parents hence eligible to represent the Ghana at senior level.
