Lawyer Amanda Clinton has been left scratching around after Hearts of Oak reportedly denied endorsing her for the GFA Presidential race.
Miss Clinton in a cited letter claimed Hearts of Oak had certified her to vie for the top position.
The legal practitioner on Friday filed her nomination for the position at the Ghana Football Association secretariat in Accra having made the public understand she had the backing from Ghana’s oldest Club.
But latest development prove otherwise as a statement believed to have been released by the Club’s board member Dr. Nyaho Tamaklo denied having any affiliation with Miss Clinton.
This could put her chances of contesting in doubt should her claims end up being false.
She currently remains the only lady among five other notable men contesting for the vacant season.
Meanwhile the Club is yet to release any statement on the issue.
George Afriyie, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Kurt Okraku, Fred Pappoe and Winfred Kwaku Osei “Palmer” all filed their nominations.
