After missing out on a place in the Men’s 100metres semi-finals at the World Athletics Championship, sprinter Joseph Paul Amoah has expressed disappointment.
His time of 10.36s was not enough to push him through to the semis as he finished sixth in heat 3.
Amoah who opted out of the 200metres was the only Ghanaian competing in the Men’s 100metres event meaning Ghana will not be winning any medal in the event.
The Coppin State University student is unhappy to have failed to reach his target at the competition.
“My target was to make it to the semis and i feel disappointed i couldn’t achieve this but we will do our best in the men’s relay”.
He will now represent in the Men’s 4x100metres relay event where he will be joined by trio Benjamin Azamati, Martin Antwi-Owusu and Sean Safo-Antwi.
