Rangers have terminated the contract of Ghanaian forward Joe Dodoo.
The Scottish side came to agreement with the player to have their deal cancelled by mutual consents.
Dodoo has had a tortuous spell at Rangers as he struggled to make the mark at the Club.
He joined the Teddy Bears from English Club Leicester City in 2016 but could not grab a first team position, spending the last two seasons on loan at Charlton Athletic and Blackpool.
He has been forced to bring his nightmare at the Club to an end by terminating his contract.
“RANGERS can confirm the mutual termination of striker Joe Dodoo’s contract,” Rangers wrote on rangers.co.uk.
“Dodoo, 24, joined the Gers in the summer of 2016 and went on to make 27 appearances, scoring five goals. He spent part of 2017 on loan at Charlton Athletic and last season with English League One side Blackpool.
“He departs with the best wishes of everyone at Rangers.”
The 24-year-old is expected to quickly work things out for a new Club in the next two hours before the transfer window shuts.
