Portia Boakye has joined the Black Queens team ahead of Tuesday’s Olympic Games qualifier.

The Djurgårdens IF midfielder missed the first leg game in Accra due to delayed flight ticket.

She joined her teammates in Kenya for the decisive match at the Moi International Stadium in Kasarani.

Boakye, captain of the side thus remains the only foreign-based player in the Black Queens team after Sweden-based Sherifatu Sumaila failed to honor her call-up due to another delayed flight ticket.

Ghana were held to a goalless stalemate by Kenya at the Accra Sports Stadium and must win the game away from home to progress.

The Black Queens are chasing their first appearance at the Olympics games tournament.
