2019 African Games bronze medalist Grace Obour won Gold in the Women’s 400metres event at the University of Ghana’s annual inter Halls athletics games.
The young lady clocked a time of 53.76s to win the race for Mensah Sarbah Hall.
Obour has been one of the fast-growing talents in Ghana Athletics after emerging as the overall best female athlete at the National Super zonals Championship early this year, a feat which ultimately earned her a scholarship to study at Ghana’s Premier University.
The 18-year-old has already started her sporting life at the University of Ghana on a good note by winning the women’s 400metres event.
She further helped her Hall to win the Women’s 4x100mteres event.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Azamati, a member of Ghana’s 4x100metres Gold winning team at the African Games and 2019 fastest human also made a time of 10.61sec to win the Men’s 100metres event for Mensah Sarbah Hall.
