The light that is to shine on Ghana football’s RESTORATION is already here to offer a strong backbone and the recondition of an atmosphere necessary for the promotion and development of grassroots the sport in the West African Nation.
Football people’s favourite George Kwasi Afriyie will herald a flagship program of ONE PLAYER ONE BALL policy for every player playing in Ghana’s famous grassroots football system – Colts Premier League.
Afriyie, who was once the Chair of the Ghana Football Association’s Juvenile Committee, views the sub-sector as the basis for a strong national football system and is ready to pump investment and provide key attention and interest while focusing on the sector when he is elected President of the Ghana FA.
Ghana Sports understand the Okyeman Planners bankroller and Liberty Professionals director has already procured the balls and other key equipment that will be the basis for the launch of the special policy.
Already the sport in the country is facing a serious threat at the grassroots level with children picking up other interest due to the unavailable for certain fundamental requirements such as available football.
Introducing the policy of One Player One ball at Premier Colts football level will restore the interest and offer a basis for more development.

Another key challenge facing the sport at that level is the availability of playing centers as urban buildings and other construction projects are gradually robbing the sub-sector of that key component of the sport.
But, is already leveraging on his strong connections and business relations to provide solution to the challenge.
Last week, proven sports investor Dr Daniel McKorley expressed his support for George Afriyie to become the next Ghana Football Association President.
Ghana football would be smiling back to its days of development and success when George Afriyie becomes the President of the Ghana Football Association as the owner of McDan Group of Companies has pledged his readiness to inject scrumptious sponsorship packages into Ghana football.
Dr McKorley, who is the Executive Chairman of McDan Group of Companies, is ready to offer a mouthwatering sponsorship package for colts football to form a core strong backbone to grassroots football across the length and breadth of the country. This will come in the construction of pitches and other key facilities available to bring grassroots football to Ghanaian children interested in pursuing a career in football.
