Bubacar Dumbia pulled a goal back for Ivory Coast from a free kick after a goalkeeping howler from Eric Ofori Antwi. The Medeama SC goalkeeper still kept Ghana in the game with some wonderful saves despite his blunder.
Ghana now awaits the winner between host Senegal and Mali in the other semi-final match to be played on Wednesday.
