CK Akonnor have promised to help the Black Stars achieve better outcomes after earning an opportunity become the assistant Coach of the team.
The former Kotoko Coach was appointed to deputize Kwesi Appiah at the senior national team.
Akonnor, whose contract covers the double header against South Africa and Sao Tome e Principe hopes to achieve better results with the team.
“For now my concentration is on been the best assistant to my boss(Kwesi Appiah), we will try and deliver the best of results,” he said in an interaction with his fans on his twitter page.

The former Ashanti Gold Coach replaces Ibrahim Tanko who has been asked to dedicate his time to the Ghana U23 side (Black Meteors).
The Black Meteors are currently in Egypt preparing for the Africa U23 Cup of Nations which kicks off on Friday.
