Former Kotoko Coach CK Akonnor could consider returning to the Club in the future.
The ex-Black Stars captain was shockingly relieved off his duties as head trainer for the Porcupine Warriors despite winning the NC Special Cup with the Club, a competition which aided the Reds to the CAF Champions League this term.
Akonnor was looking forward to supervising the team to better their Group stage finish in Africa last year, however that could not happen as the Club replaced him with Finnish Kjetil Zachariassen.
In an open question session on his twitter page, Akonnor, who is now the assistant Coach for the Black Stars revealed he might consider making a return to Kotoko in the future.
“For now am occupied but we will see how far that takes us and if we need to consider that as an option,” he replied to a question posted by a fun.

Another reply to the same question read; “There is always a chance in the future for such.”
Kjetil Zachariassen who replaced the Ghanaian tactician is facing the sack after the team failed to progress in both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup competitions.
