Abdul Halik Hudu was at his personal best once again for IK Frej in the first leg of their playoff against Umeå FC.
He played the full throttle of the match and brought the hope for his side heading into the second leg encounter on Sunday.
The visitors were pegged back in the 68th minute with a goal from Jens Stigedal at the Umeå Energi Arena SOL.
And when all thought Hudu and his team had lost, the midfielder pounced on a loose ball in the box and pounced it with a top finish to grab a draw for the visitors.
IK Frej placed 14th on the Swedish Superettan and Umeå from Division One are vying for a spot in next year’s Superettan and the winner from the two-legged encounter will earn the ticket.
